Travel

Consideration may be out of style,
as we travel, mile after mile.

The man with knapsack seems so miserable,
perhaps he fears that he is invisible.

He puts his bag there in the aisle,
this action 1 can't reconcile.

He seems to need to cause affray,
1 wish his ego was far away.

Perhaps he needs to make some protest,
is it you or me that causes his unrest.

1 am annoyed as 1 see his lack of concern for passers by,
perhaps he needs like us a shoulder on which to cry.

Why the need to create an obstacle to progress however small,
that does nothing to teach, enlighten or enthral.

This man is full of fear and stress;
all he does is perpetuate the mess.

If he wants to make some stand,
why not offer up a helping hand.
