It's party time! Stockport's Summer Ball is on 21 st July at The Chestergate, 68 Mersey Square, Stockport (opposite the bus station). Please note the change of date - the original clashed with Marlow Raft Race, and we want to sink a raft.

Because of dress restrictions at the venue, the "Scruff Ball" has become a smart ball, and smart dress will be required - sorry to everyone who'd already raided Oxfam in preparation for the "worst dressed" competition.

The dance starts at 8:00pm and finishes at 1:30am, and there's a late bar until 1:00am for those who enjoy their drinking (isn't that all of us? Well, there is the notable exception of our Area Chairman).

Tickets will be £4.00 With membership card, £5.00 without, and there will be a raffle for some extremely interesting prizes. (Guess who'll be selling the tickets - again!)
