Manchester United eat your heart out!
Stockport Eighteen Plus members competed in the Northern Area
five-a-side football competition where they came a creditable fifth place
playing against teams from as far as Grimsby & Cleethorpes, Rothwell,
Knotty Ash and Leeds. The eventual winners, Leeds, were very closely followed
by Cheadle Eighteen Plus into second place.
Stockport members are now
looking forward to the regional Ten Pin bowling competition, Northern Area
Barbecue and forthcoming visits to the 'Frog and Bucket' and the Stockport Beer
Festival. A little further ahead are holiday weekends in Marlow (the National
18 Plus Raft Race competition) and AMMO (the Annual Mad Mini Olympics) held
this year in Upminster Essex.
