Stockport Eighteen Plus members attended the Annual National Conference of the National Federation of Eighteen Plus groups, which was held at the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton Derbyshire.

As Eighteen Plus is a national organisation such a get together is necessary to debate issues effecting the organisation and how it can be improved even more in the future.

While the discussions were of some interest (and the Stockport and Romiley 18 Plus Group's Delegation played a full part in these), the evening event featuring the band 'Boomerang' and a knees up until the early hours was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone attending them.

The conference resumed at 9:30 a.m. on the Sunday morning and this proved something of a struggle to attend after the previous nights excesses!

As well as the debate a representative from the charity shelter was presented with a cheque for £1,600.00 as a result of the 'Adopt-a-jelly-baby' fund raising event held by Eighteen Plus.
