Northern Area 18 Plus
"Who Dares Wins" 2001

As you will be aware, Round Two of the Linda Street Trophy, the Northern "Who Dares Wins" is taking place in Northwich on Sunday 24th June 2001. The first part of the event will be rather like a treasure hunt, and if the weather is fine the daring bit will come later ...

Teams of no more than four, please, and although a group may enter more than one team, only the best score will count. Each team will need a car,, someone who can read a map, and a large bucket(!). A change of clothing apiece would be advisable as you may wish to get wet (you may not, but it might happen anyway).

The control centre for the event is the building site also known as 155 Middlewich Road, Northwich, as shown on the enclosed map. BRING THE MAP - you will need it. Extra parking may be available at the nearby doctor's surgery on Middlewich Road, but watch out for the chain which is sometimes hung across the entrance. Please be at the control point ready to start at 1:00pm.

See you there. And remember - Who Dares Wins! Be creative,, in this event the rules are open to "interpretation".

Bekki Roe
18 Plus Northern Area Chairman

For those groups who've never been to Northwich, it's off Junction 19 of the M6, or Junction 7 of the M56. Follow the signs for the A556 Northwich, Turn right off the roundabout with the massive Morrisons warehouse, then left over the bridge by the Broken Cross pub onto Middlewich Road. If this makes no sense,, ring me before Saturday for directions.
