Event Co-ordinator`s quandary

Anyway I have a quandary It has been suggested that a Real Ale Trip, (RAT) might not be favourably attended, so I would like to canvass people's opinion as to weather we should have a RAT or possibly a trip to the American Adventure Theme Park near Ilkeston.

Please send e-mails to me, David Orsler so that I can gather the responses together in order to make a decision.

Now Get Out Of That

NOW COMBINED WITH TAG.

NGOOT, the event of physical and mental challenges for teams of 4, has returned to the 18 Plus calendar. This year the event will take place at the National Watersports Centre, Nottingham. Specific activities over the weekend will (as usual) remain a closely guarded secret:

If you're good at getting yourself out of awkward situations then get yourself out for NGOOT.

Friday: Arrive and settle in. This will give you the opportunity to arrive at your leisure and prepare for the challenge.

Saturday: This is where the fun starts. After breakfast the details of the day’s challenges will then be provided.

Sunday: Breakfast, followed by more of those tantalising challenges.

Monday: Breakfast and final activities until early afternoon. To enable a leisurely drive home for all.

What does each team or member need to provide

  •  A team of 4 members consisting of at least one person of the opposite sex.
  •  A Four-Seater car. – It may or may not be used.
  •  Walking boots or strong shoes – There will be some walking over the weekend.
  •  Change of clothes – It is possible that you may get wet, dirty or both.
  •  Sleeping bags for all, and tents for those wishing to camp, together with your washing gear.
  •  An Ordinance Survey Map from the Landranger Series Number 129. (Nottingham & Loughborough).
  •  Pens, pencils, note paper, etc.
  •  Initiative and team spirit.

Hope to see you over the weekend
