Parties and DiscosMany Parties are held in the Northern Area with many members attending, themes include; St Valentine's, Summer Ball, Halloween, Christmas and more. Some members even travel outside the Northern Area for a Party. Plus allows you to obtain discounts to certain Parties, Discos and other 18 Plus entertainment including Area, and National scale Plus events where there is an early booking price reduction.
NIGHT CLUBS AND BARS Plus members often visit and enjoy night clubs, they also enjoy plenty of sociable evenings and drinking at well-known pubs and wine bars. |

Arts and EntertainmentTHEATRE, CONCERTS, BALLET, OPERA, MUSICALS Plus often attends the theatre, shows and concerts and even a pantomime. RECENT THEATRE AND MUSICAL EVENTS INCLUDE:
Regular Comedy Nights are at venues including Jongleurs, Leeds, the Comedy Cellar, Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield and The Frog & Bucket, Stocport. |

Cultural ActivitiesOne of the things which makes Plus stand out from other social clubs is the diversity of its activities programme, nowhere is this more evident than in its extensive programme of both evening and weekend trips to various cultural attractions. Recently Plus has visited venues as unusual and wide-ranging as Magna, Rotherham, Abbey House, Kirkstall, Leeds, The National Museum of Photography Film & Television, Bradford and Conisborough Castle, near Rotherham. And it's far from being a case of visiting stuffy old buildings crammed to the rafters with obscure art. We've been to some of the newest attractions, and in amongst these events we've been treated to talks, performance art, and even live music. Our cultural events always provide a good opportunity to mix with regular and new members, and usually include the option for a meal or drinks. |

Food and DrinkFINEST RESTAURANTS Plus members enjoy regular visits to restaurants including The Rum Boat, Huddersfield, The Artimis, Leeds, The Office, Bradford and The Great Wall, Brighouse. You are invited to dine out with your local Plus Group at popular restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Sunday carvery lunches, afternoon teas and Pub Meals at the best loved hotels and Pubs are also firm favourites. |

Sports/Activity WeekendsPlus is well-known for organising excellent multi-activity sports, outdoor pursuits and walking weekends all over the country, staying at activity centres, big farm houses, B&B's, country houses and hotels. Favourite areas include Wales, Scotland, the Yorkshire Dales, Northumbria and Cornwall. Recent outdoor and Adventure Activities include:
SPORTS EVENTS Join us for a varied sports programme covering football, skating, rounders, bungee-jumping(!), go-karting, cycling, walking.

Plus HolidaysPlus is known for generating it's own unique, special, and exciting atmosphere, no more so than at the many large scale events organised throughout the year. Here is just a sample of some of the exciting events. THE SPRING HOLIDAY A fun packed holiday weekend when 18 Plus takes over a Holiday Centre at Brean Sands, Weston-Super-Mare. Members enjoy Discos, Live performances, Sports, parties, Competitions and Trips.
THE ANNUAL CAMPING GATHERING Every year a camping weekend is organised in a different location, the event offers excellent camping facilities, and entertainment, With Discos, Live music, Competitions, Excursions, and much more.
Autumn Caravan Holiday, (WASH) An annual weekend of entertainment, live music, leisure pursuits, parties, and competitions at Searles Holiday Centre, Hunstanton in Norfolk.
Plus also organises action packed or relaxed Holidays, take your pick from multi-activity weekends, European city breaks, walking holidays, summer sunshine/skiing holidays and Canal boat holidays!

Club NightsPlus understands that for many people, taking the initial step of joining a group of people you have never met before can seem a little daunting. That is why each Plus Group organises regular Club Nights to welcome and introduce new members to the Club in relaxed surroundings. Plus is a friendly organisation! Do come to our regular Club Nights as often as possible after you join, and you will soon find yourself easily making new friends. Once you are a member you may visit any Plus Group in the Northern Area or the whole Country, and join in their activities and events. You will meet and make friends with people of your own age and interests, and enjoy a range of exciting and varied activities run in a friendly social atmosphere. |

OrganisationAs a full member of Plus you can vote in your Group's elections, and have your say in the running of Plus. You may stand for election for any Committee post, from Group to National level. You will be part of an organisation which, because it is run by its own members is fully responsive to the needs of all it's members.

CompetitionsCompetitions are also organised by Plus, most with a celebration Disco to follow in the evening:

Charity Fund-raising/CommunityPlus is also known for the work it does for the community, such as Charity fundraising, and much more. |

OpportunitiesMembers have the opportunity to learn and practice a whole range of new skills, from management to P.R. through in-house training events. |
