| BANK MANDATES |
| Please remember that the Area Chairman should be a signatory on 18 Plus Group Bank Accounts (this does not mean they have to sign all cheques, it's just a precaution). 18 Plus Groups should bring a Bank Mandate with them to the Area Conference on Sunday 23rd May 1999 at The Acton Court Hotel, Stockport so that the necessary signings can be made. If any 18 Plus Group will not be represented at the Area Conference, alternative arrangements will have to be made. |
| GROUP NIGHT LIBRARY |
| The Group Night Library folders and a new listing will be available at the Area Conference. The folderscontain ready prepared activities that can be used on an 18 Plus Group night, they make an excellent back-up on your Programme. 18 Plus Groups are asked to bring back any folders they have finished withand also to bring along any suitable submissios which can be included - we're sure you've all spent time and effort in preparing an activity, so let others use it! |
| OTHER THINGS TO BRING WITH YOU TO THE CONFERENCE |
| Yourself, plus some friends - the more the merrier! Your 18 Plus Group's current/new Directory details, unless you have already sent them to the Area Administrator. Your 18 Plus Group's POW money (it's only 30p per copy). Any notices you wish to display. Any information you wish to include in the neaxt Area Bulk Posting. A copy of your 18 Plus Group's recently Audited Bank Account, unless you've sent them to the Area Treasurer. Some bright ideas for Publicity!!! |
| PLUGS ADVERTS |
| Northwich 18 Plus are holding a Disco on Saturday 19th June. Cheadle 18 Plus are holding a berbeque and Disco on Saturday 17th July, hopefully a volleyball competition will be held during the afternoon. The North-West Region Fun Sports afternoon "It's a Balls Up" will be held on Sunday 26th June. All Northern Area 18 Plus Groups are invitedto attend and the North-West 18 Plus Groups will also be awarded Tomlin Trophy points. The National Gathering (TAG) will be held over the August Bank Holiday weekend at Bangor on Dee Racecourse near Wrexham. |
