Area Forum

The next Area Forum will be held on Saturday 12th February 2000 in the afternoon prior to the Valentines Disco at the Romiley Centre. The Forum will start at 2:00 p.m. refreshments will be provided.

One of the topics for (informal) discussion will be the scrapping of the North-West and Yorkshire Regions at the following Area Conference in May. Please attend and have your say in the matter.

Could you also discuss this topic amongst your Group members and help us gauge the strength of feeling for or against such a move.

Other topics for discussion will be the Area Levy and Publicity.

Valentines Disco

This has been booked for Saturday 12th February 2000 at the Romiley Centre, Romiley, Stockport (last year's venue).

The Disco will be on from 8:00 p.m. - midnight with J C in the House providing the "choons in a big-up stylee" (I think it means he's doing the Disco - S F).

Like at last year's Disco, Romiley Group will be putting on one of their mouth-watering buffets.

Further Publicity / Posters will follow shortly.

Committee Details

Please note that all Committee details should now have been sent both to Bridget and the Office.

Even if your Committee hasn't changed from the previous one, you should still send the details in.

Also, I am required to be a signatory on all Group Bank Accounts. Please forward completed Bank Mandates so I can add my details to them. Thanks

If you want a paragraph putting in the next newsletter (out in February) or posters, event letters, maps, etc. (25 of each are needed), please let Simon have them by the 10th of February at the latest.

Groups are asked to prepare a dossier / scrapbook on 18 Plus in 1999.

This should not just be a photograph album. Include Charity work, outings, and so on.

Entries should be submitted before the end of February.
