Northern
Area 18 Plus May Conference 2001
The Annual May Conference is upon us, it is
important that you all attend, whether it is to express the opinions of your
group, or to listen to others ideas which you can then relay back to your own
groups.
I for one will be disappointed if groups fail
to appear for this conference. The conference is to be held at Romiley
Community Centre, Stockport, on Saturday 26th May 2001 with a dance to follow
in the evening at the same venue.
I know conferences are not everyone's cup of
tea, but they ARE important for finding out information and making contact with
other groups in YOUR area.
Please bear in mind that if you wish to be
nominated for a committee position then you will require a proposer and
seconder from two separate groups.
Please attend, this is where and when you get
to say what you want from 18 Plus Northern Area!

Evening Disco
On Saturday evening following the Conference
the Evening Disco took place, starting at 7:30pm and Finishing shortly after
12:00 midnight.
Music and banter for the evening was provided
by "Twin Decks" Mobile Disco.
